Well to be more specific, steven gave a few pieces of info on why there are no avian tulnar. Basically the birdbrains tried to fly away rather than go underground. Thats why there are bird people npcs. He didn't go further into detail though.

Mammalian(Skaven), Reptilian(Lizardmen) and Humanoid(Drow)?
