Jk. If I had to say, make the world feel alive. Give the player something to do always without the task being mundane like fetch quests. For the competitive types, i suppose end game is always going to be a problem. For people like me who like exploring and just having fun with discovery, this has always been the most important aspect. Of course, we'll eventually reach end game, but with Ashes, it seems a lot of supposed endgame is rooted in player conflicts of interests and wars and such which I'm totally cool with
