I wouldn't because I bought previously expansions which unlock level caps and access to more content in game. The difference is that the expansion I bought only once while the freehold spots I might lose after sieges. But even that, if it happens rarely enough, is just like an added increase to the monthly subscription and might be cheaper than buying on RMT or safer.

They going to RMT so the guild throws the war and loses so the node doesn't' get destroyed and can't destroy freeholds in return. ^_~
