Question about Character wipe

I have heard they will be wiping our characters in December. Is this true and does anyone have a link.

    As far as I have heard, there are no planned wipes at the moment - they are more of a "last resort" if it turns out to be necessary. If someone has heard otherwise from any official source, feel free to correct me.

    As far as i can tell, stories of wipes are baseless speculation and not coming from intrepid.

    I have heard a lot of chatter that they are going to reset tomorrow so that everyone is on a even playing field when alpha 2 opens up to everyone.

    This also seems both baseless and pointless.

    Right now, the objective is to test as much as possible. Having people at all levels supports that goal.

    I don't know why people are inventing reasons for a wipe when we have not heard a hint of anything about a wipe yet.
