Will Alpha II support 32:9 ratio?

Hi,

Alpha II is just around the corner and as far as I know this hasn't been confirmed.

I'm sure a bunch of us are gaming on super ultra wide monitor's and are wondering if we will have support in the game for this? As it is a UE5 game, it shouldn't be to hard to implement.

Can anyone pls give us some feedback?

Hello, currently Ultrawide is not supported... comparing to others my screen is more zoomed in by about 30% at max scroll out distance. also my camera is not centered on my character. It's centered above my characters head.

About 2 years ago I made a forum post asking if ultrawide is supported and was told yes. So I'm surprised to see its not.

You'll have to be patient.

Many players (including myself) were hoping for the character creator client by today, but that was pushed to later in Phase I.

My apologies I was not clear, I was informed that this was already implemented into the game in alpha 1.

Damn wtf, so if I switch to 16:9 mode I'll be able to see more 😩

Edit: It looks like at least the character select screen does have proper support:

Will have to check in-game when the servers open.

No it doesn't look great. It looks terrible. I have to play in windowed mode because it looks better and I can see more. But JFC if Intrepid fix this the screen shots are going to be beautiful.

Coming back to this, OP is correct. Ultrawide is currently not supported and you lose FoV by going above 16:9. Hoping for a fast fix.

Chiming in because my 49" ultrawide feels bad with no FOV.

It's been 3 months since I last checked this, and no update is disappointing.

I played the game for an hour to start with, then put it down whilst waiting on this change, because it just didn't look good on Ultrawide.

Very much looking forward to diving back in once this is finally fixed.....
