So your Round Robin isn't really RR, is it?

I'm not sure if this was brought up on the forum before, I'm sure some people probably reported this as a bug. It was fairly apparent to us at the start of the Phase1 that the RR implementation results in uneven glint distribution when in a party. Also as a note when solo farming could we do something about mobs not dropping glint at all. There is nothing rewarding about killing a 1-star / 2-star mobs solo and ending up with no loot at all.

Isn't that the whole point of the system though? It makes loot distribution per member rely more on luck than on pure farming prowess, so the overall situation is more fair across the board.

As for soloing 1-2* mobs, iirc in P1 non-human mobs would drop glint more frequently, while humanoids would drop items as a counter balance. Was that a myth or did things change? And if it's neither, then which mob didn't drop anything on death? And was that mob in the proper lvl window in relation to the player?

I mean mainly the situation in groups. I tend to play with the same people and we trust ourself enough, so it was obvious fairly quickly that glint distribution in the group is not even.

I forget, don't we have a "finders keepers" kind of option? Whoever picks it up keeps it. And then if your party is full of friends, yall can just properly distribute the glint amongst yourselves and share any other loot through trade.

Sure, but that's not a solution. That's a stop gap.

I'm not in a position to test these things out at all, but here are two things that I think may be worth you checking.

First, check and see if it is always the same characters getting more glint than the rest. This could show if the issue is one of DPS classes getting more glint (which may be intended), or it could show up other bugs (I have seen similar bugs that result from things like character name, class and character ID).

Second, have just one person in the group loot bodies, and see if your results are different than if everyone is looting them. This would show if glint wasn't part of the round robin loot system at all (in some games, loot systems only apply to actual items).

This is honestly something that actual figures would be helpful for.
