More rpg elements pls.

I would like to see more rpg elements in the game such as: epic class quests that reward you with special items or advanced spells. For example as a mage in order to learn lightning spells I have to locate a missing master/trainer who is the only known person to use this type of magic, or as a ranger to do a special quest that rewards you with a magical quiver that makes your arrows infinite,or to become a bounty hunter I have to complete an achievement to kill 3 red players first to prove I’m worthy and then I am rewarded with a magical map that shows all red players in the area.Little things like these that add flavor and/or reasons to travel and explore. Can you think of other rpg elements you would like to see? I’d like to hear your thoughts.

Ashes of Creation is currently in its Alpha Two testing phase, which began on October 25, 2024. This phase operates continuously with minimal downtime and will continue to expand with new content until transitioning to Beta One.

The game's questing system is designed to offer a rich and immersive experience, featuring three main categories:

-Commissions: Tasks that players can undertake, often related to the needs of the community or node development.

    - Side Quests: Diverse objectives that arise during your adventures, providing various rewards and insights into the world.

    - Story Arc Quests: Narrative-driven quests that can branch into different stories with multiple possible endings, influenced by player choices and actions.

Given that the game is still in development, the questing system and other gameplay elements are continually evolving. The developers are actively working on expanding and refining these systems, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience upon release. As development progresses, it's anticipated that more RPG elements, such as class-specific quests and unique storylines, will be introduced to enrich the gameplay further.

For the most up-to-date information on the game's development and features, you can refer to the official news updates provided by Intrepid Studios.

I would love so much to work for a game company like Intrepid, to shape and bring the world of Verra to life with all kinds of unique places. I truly hope this is planned.

Imagine inns styled like Stormwind, placed in remote corners of the map to offer shelter and rest to traveling adventurers. Mansions, towers filled with monsters and trinkets, chests spawning randomly with various rewards... The game already provides amazing atmospheres, so creating places filled with charm and history would be truly fantastic.

Currently, there's mostly bestiary and humanoids scattered everywhere, but I already really enjoy the points of interest. However, what I would truly love to see in the coming years are RPG elements taking over Verra.

Being able to sit at a tavern table, enjoying a cozy atmosphere... I know many features are being prepared, but bringing back the importance of "RPG" is essential, and it's something that has been lost a lot in recent years.

So yeah, a world shaped with charming places, exploration, ancient ruined cities like the ones we already have, but with furniture and lore. And I would love to be able to create them myself. :D

  • I would also like more hardcore rpg elements like having to explore or quest to find a specific trainer that is able to teach you a certain spell. I like it when there is an explanation inside the mmo of why every little thing happens. For example, if I level I get a skill point but how? The god of Vera just gives it to me?

I would just love to help them make maps and all the little details. I love modding for games and adding beautiful landscapes and getting all the little details and easter eggs right. I had made a mod in skyrim adding an entire city for forsworn for me and my friends with a cave system for the witches. Gosh I miss doing that

What I missed this weekend, while playing Rogue:
NPC Ability Trainers. Typically, they would conrgegate in pre-fab Guild housing.
In D&D, EQ and WoW - I would be able to learn from a person who has mastered Shadow Stepping - etc.
I'd like to experience the lore of Ren'Kai NPCs crafting and teaching the Blood-based branches of the Fighter Active Skills.

Could be this will be ammeliorated via Augments - once they beocme available to us players.
