Desert is finished?

According to today's development update Steven said that the desert is complete.

Isn't it missing pois? Like the Riverlands has.

It can't just have pocket dungeons. I'd assume wed get pois like Riverlands like seph, church, Kora loch, etc. There's a lot

I also hope that when they said "finished," they were referring to the geography of the map being complete, but not the content itself. It would be quite concerning if there weren't POIs equivalent to what we have in Riverlands. After all, for a large-scale launch, there need to be enough points of interest for the masses to play across the entire map.

When we look at the codex, there are Large, Medium, and Small POIs that haven't been implemented in the game yet. So, I'm hopeful that the desert map will be enriched with new POIs featuring Oriental-style architecture.

im assuming by that statment he meant landmass considering there not even the last 2 nodes in there yet its 100% not finished :P

The " Landmass " to be patched into the Game seems to be finished. Smaller changes might happen still.

Of Course the Content for it to be completely filled with such upwards to Release Version 1.0. is still being patched in, if i am not mistaken.

I bloody hope not. So many mob spawns feel like someone copy/pasted some 2-star mobs too many times and called it a day.

Tropics are the same right now. But that's still new

Desert is finished from a landscape standpoint.

Don't confuse that with content standpoint.

It should be quite obvious to anyone just using their map, that this is the case.

Desert could be finished at a base level dont forget we have Dynamic world progression system thats not implemented yet

Riverlands is further along in the world progression since from my understanding at rank 1 (no progression) Carphin, forge and steelblooms is suppose to be locked it seems were somewhere in the middle since we dont have full forge/carphin or steelbloom yet either so it seems they put default riverland somewhere in the middle atm for testing phase since no dungeons would kinda suck for players

Desert with exception of the last 2 node which seem like there getting different layouts for those nodes seems to be the bare basic level 1 world progression side of things so it could be done in regard of a lvl 1 world progression state.
