What's going on with combat?

Why is every enemy gliding/jumping on you and hitting from 20 yards and very off pace in general, is this a server issue/my own connection? or is it just very early to expect anything else and combat is pretty barebones atm? Really curious about this since it's a crucial part of the game that doesnt feel like it has any weight atm.

    The servers lately have been having some real performance type issues. They've mentioned it a few times in discord and such. Should get better soon hopefully.

    I don't see this improving any time soon. Dynamic gridding is not in the game and the server is under higher than designed load with the player numbers. What will eventually "improve" the situation is the dropping concurrent player numbers.
