    It wasn't actually real.

    Sure, the freeholds (as an example) that were shown back then may have looked fairly good, but they didn't actually function. They were created as a showpiece to demonstrate to the community the kind of thing Intrepid had in mind.

    To be fair my excitement dwindled somewhere between Phase 2 and Phase 2.5, seeing how "little" (to me) changed, it just wasn't substantial enough (yet) for me to keep excitement going.

    For me, there’s a lot I don’t like anymore, but will leave that open.
    I do think this game will end up with a very niche player base.

    But more than happy to be proven wrong.

    I'm not alpha testing so monthly updates aren't that interesting when they cover more in-the-weeds stuff like bug fixes, networking/gridding, and system tweaks.

    It's hard to be excited right now until they can showcase a populated world with content and more skills/augments, architecture/cities, naval etc.

    Looking forward to summoner.
