Human Looks

All the non human races look well proportioned and nice overall, but the human races look really off. The have the same look as games like veilguard or other recent AAA titles that have ugly character models. Is this something that will get fixed and im just a cry baby or is the intended look. I know people will try and act like im calling it woke or something but thats not it, I just dont ger why they all have janky proportions and stand like they are kids asking their mom for phone games

This is why i am firmly convinced that these MUST. BE. Placeholders. Around +50% of the Game's Popularity will depend on how well you create your Character and let it look.
Imagine having Nine cool Races at start and then You realise they are lesser fleshed out like in way older Games.

Oh. Well " THAT " was intentionally created shitty by the eternal Developer Crowd of :

The Reason why things like "USAID" need to get hindered or even prevented, is that THESE. PEOPLE. need to have lesser Ressources.
Because they want nothing else than INTENTIONALLY ruining Franchises and Fun for as many People as possible all around them,
because they view it as "Justice" -> that when "THEY them/selves" (lol) in their Lifes aren't happy -> that they try to prevent AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE from also being happy and having Fun in their Lifes.
But enough of the Reality that most People do not even DARE to address.
You are NOT a crybaby if you want the Characters to look way better in the finished Game.

The "Males" in that Game were designed like "WEAK Stoner-Men" with happily smiling, sky-high Faces at times, right ?
That was intentionally made so -> that they look "LESS threatening" to the modern Audience which doesn't even really exist,
and which is expected to have Anxiety or even Panic Attacks if they would "EVER" have a Discussion with an angry, masculine Working-Class Man, which looks like he can beat everyone's behind with no problem.
I am NOT joking.
Because they were fed the "Nonsense" at some Time in their Lifes -> that in Order to be something like GIRLBOSSES or strong Women,
they need to "ERASE" any actual, capable, masculine and strong Men from their Lifes. If they can not do it in Reallife, they should at least do it in VideoGames.
This is also why they hate noticeably attractive, good-looking female Characters
Aren't we all tired of these "modern Audience VideoGames" ?
Which are something like a "REVENGE-CRUSADE" against the Western World.
Here comes the Fun-Part which i love to end my Comment with.
I don't even " NEED " - to ask or beg any of You - to boycott these beyond badly written and badly designed Videogames.
Because i need to look only at their Failure and non-existing Sales Numbers to " KNOW " that most of You share my Opinion and Worldview on VideoGames.
And who else is also smart ? And most likely a bit smarter than most of us ? The Developer-Team of Intrepid and Sir Steven himself from what i have observed and watched for the last Years.

Oh thats good. Not only do i want to not look at ugly human models but if the models look good it sells well in general

A game can be "woke" and do well. BG3 is "woke" and did amazing. even games like FFVII rebirth have some "woke" to them as long as it doesnt come at the cost of good gameplay and goodlooking characters people will like it. Im not worried about any "woke" aspect just that the models will look janky if they continue the art direction they are going in. Stylized proportions look great especially with fantasy armors. They dont need to be Korean MMO goon bait but they need to be goodlooking for both genders

Baldurs Gate Three might not be - as woke as you think it is. There are things in the World of Toril that are COMPLETELY normal there - which would be woke however if You would make a Scenario and Story in our real World.
For Example,
NOBODY would say anything against a SAMURAI-styled Warrior -> which is an african-looking, black Man. It is incorrect and falsification of history if You do it like with Assassin's Creed Shadows and claim in feudal Edo Era Japan were black african Men running around as Samurai,
but in Toril there is no Logic or Pattern how Humans of all Appearances are in which Country or Area to which Time, right ?
Humans just exist -> and the Creation which made them - thought it would be cool if they would have lots of different Looks and Appearances.
In which Regards Please - is Baldurs Gate Three "woke" ?
In Verra -> We Players will be the Story in a Sense, right ? We shape the World by building up our Nodes -> fight Corruption and Corruption when it bursts out in Area's - and then "live happily after"
A "woke" Element would be for Example -> if a failed Character like "BfA-Sylvanas" from WoW would show up. A over-the-top toxic "Girlboss" which would make no Sense at all,
JUST PLACED THERE -> so that she does some stupid Stuff,
annoys a L~OOOOOOOOOOOOOT of People,
then "fly's off" after screeching that all People around her are "nothing" -> and then heralds in the next Expansion after she did her best to do an absolute Karen-Shitshow Tantrum for at least a whole Storyline.

Dont know if you have played it, but according to a lot who loves to pull tantrums over anything remotely woke, for once character creator you can literally make yourself trans (yes there is genitals and you can insert a penis in a female body type and vice versa...so there is that) and you can pick non-binary too, there is also gay/bi relationships as well in romance as an option, oh and yes people of coulor (any humanoid) and different races, oh and there is a lot of females in the game also (females in games nowadays seems to be an issue according to the anti-woke crowd)....
So anything remotely not attractive to your personal taste must be forbidden??
Indeed they were very much pressuring on their narrative (pulling an agenda or so to say)

My Brother played it. He LLLOVES that Game and made a few great Runs which were heavily modded. His Main Character was a hot Cambion Lady.

People were very vocal how Gale (un-modded, male Gale) tries to seduce their Character quickly when they follow some Lines or so. Jeah the horny Characters of Baldurs Gate Three.

People of Color are EVERYWHERE there - and in DnD that is completely okay because i heard it is a Fantasy-World and People (Humans for Example) have been EVERYWHERE with all kinds of Looks because apparently who or whatever designed Humans in that Universe - had Fun making them look different.
I am losing Oversight of what exactly the Problem could be that one's own Character can romance absolutely Everyone.
I mean okay Astarion is mean to You when You are a Dwarf or Gnome x'D (lol) when i remember correctly. But usually the Game is "Everything goes" and so on.
I wouldn't call the previous Dragon Age Games woke. Especially not for a thing like homosexual or Bi Characters. For Example the big Guy with the Horns who is called "The Grey Bull" (??) or something like that, was very openly homo in one of the previous Games,

I don't think a single thing like homosexual Characters in a Game would have ever done a Game great harm. Also i still find it funny that People can choose for Women to have Wieners in Baldurs Gate Three or for Men to have none.
It doesn't prevent Baldurs Gate Three from being an awesome Game at all. And THAT - is what counts.

You are absolutely right, both humans race looks terrible. Once looks like an ugly orc, and the other looks like a weirdo on drugs. I was absolutely unable to create any good-looking female character in the editor. They should hire a South Korean consultant to help them create some good-looking options for character creation.

Hands down -> this right now can not possibly be the desired final Product for Launch.
When in the likes of 2018 the Characters looked already so gloriously in either short Character Creator Footages or as "Concept Art(?)" 3D Models - then this here must be a rough Placeholder.

I think this feedback is needed. I'm also not worried as the standard production is launch each system and kill bugs and problems and roll out more systems rinse and repeat till tye whole game is there. In the middle of that, graphics and textures do get rough passes but the real focus on avatars, textures, animations and all the stuff that makes things look good come at the end of of Alpha. Fine tuning of everything comes with beta. We are a long ways from that.
