Please sell cosmetics

I didn't get a chance to pick up any of the early packs but I would love to buy some cosmetics. I guess the problem is that people would complain if new cosmetics were sold before the old ones were all finished? Is there any solution that would let me spend some on cosmetics in the store right now?

    They will 100% sell cosmetics again. It is not due to some "we have to finish all the others first before we do that." It is due to when the cosmetic packs were being developed, there was no active game client to iterate on the daily and so much to do towards getting the game running. Steven and Margaret have both mentioned, including in the livestream today that cosmetics will be available for purchase in the future. Just this time, they  will not be "exclusive" or "one and done, never to be available again" as they took years of various people accusing them of FOMO practices and even worse. They have also promised parity for cosmetic offerings in game that you don't have to pay for. You are just going to have to wait along with everyone else. They have been clear that those cosmetic packs and items that were sold as timed and exclusive will NOT be for sale again. And you should be happy about it. Cause if they are willing to break their word on previous sales promises, then they can do it for anything.

    This is a major point that I see and hear people misunderstand. Nearly daily now that cosmetics are in the game.

    People think they are going to be able to buy those old packs in the future.

    That is not and should not be the case. Moving forward all paid cosmetics should be new.

    At this point they have clarified multiple times that new cosmetics or in-game achievable mounts will not share the same models as the supporter packs. Those packs are unique and will remain that way. Anything less should result in major backlash and a potentially lawsuit.

    And your wishes and desires shall be heard and fulfilled in time (lol) but i doubt that we will see anything purchasable in the Shop in the very, VERY near future.

    Could still be Weeks or Months until it happens. Maybe longer. The older Packs were said several times not to make a return. One Reason is that People might complain who bought them.

    Another Reason is -> these Pre-Order Packs were partially REALLY expensive. Like - when they were ever to be returned to the Shop or something else where One can buy them,

    they would need to be the same Price yet again, or otherwise it would be unfair to everyone who purchased them back then. And they were partially like 125 €uro/Dollar or +250 and so on ... ... :sweat_smile:

    I myself am honestly not so sure if People want to pay THAT MUCH just for a few more Cosmetics. But then again i should never underestimate Anyone who wants "to be a Whale" and flap their mighty fins that are equipped with Tons of Shop Cosmetics. :sweat_smile::mrgreen:

    Well I guess since this will be a sub model game, the cash shop is not as important as it is for some other games. If they don't need the money for development that's fine. If the money were an issue and there would be no sub, I'd say FOMO is a perfectly valid strategy.

    On the other hand, some in-game seasonal events could be fun. Something for halloween or whatever with cosmetics you can earn.

    This should be still too early as the Game is still knee-deep in Development,

    but if the Pre-Order Cosmetics are so insanely desired from some People already -> why not already starting to work on some Recolors of those ? :mrgreen:

    If i remember correctly i have read about this, in the past. Like the very direct Pre-Order Cosmetics from the Past won't be available again - but Recolors of them will be available. Maybe - dominant word MAYBE -> some Recolors even look very similar. Could be.


    But if Sir Steven and his Team would already do that, then You can be 100.000.000% sure, that People would immediately and loudly screech and complain again :mrgreen: and call the Game a money-making Scam :mrgreen: and so on - and so on. ^.^

    thing is if they are never again available then thats exactly what they sold was FOMO... and they could do it again if they think they did nothing wrong. if they sold the game for 90 dollars as a trade for 6 months of game time alls well. they are just taking payment up front and getting there game tested for free. but they sold a limited time offer never to be sold again costume.. thats a fomo sale. and it wasnt just costumes.. think what life time subs and mounts too?? it has the stench of desperation and fomo selling..
