Just looking for any updates on when we will see player housing / Apartments
It will be mechanicly introduced at some point im sure, but honestly, theres a LOT of work to be done before housing becomes a priority. And also, even if it mechanicly unlocks, what makes you think you get to have a spot? They aren't handed out like candy in AoC. Not everyone will get a house, like, at all.
bots running duped legendary crates flying through the air and you're worried about housing? how about making it a priority that we can open up the bank in towns consistently
even if they come you will never get one ,only toxic zerg guilds will have them and all you will get is a small NY apartment so you can slave away at the systems and pay its over priced rent
Hmm…. im curious what you expect from a sandbox game. The world is divided up of a bunch of zerg guilds who call themselves countries and kill each other for exclusive land claims. That's been the game long before we taught rocks how to do math for us in order to play games out of the light box. ooga booga. I'm a solo player by choice, and I'm stuck going with the flow of whatever the big guilds decide for our towns - I hate zerg game play and have no interest in it. That said, I'm realistic with my expectations on where my place is - and at best I'll be able to accomplish some smaller skirmish style pvp.
I mean, Archeage was a sandbox game and the primary influence for Ashes, yet every player could get hold of land in that game with only a small amount of effort.
This being a sandbox game is not an excuse for poor design
Nice b8 m8. Housing isn't in the game, how is it bad designed if it's not even in the game for it's design to be judged? I wasn't on the forums for a bit, are you still farming post count like it's paying your rent?
read how the housing system is but even then look at the rest of the systems that are in game and you'd figure out how the housing is going to be. as for what do i expect from a Sandbox ..well not too much really , a game designed and have systems that are balanced by a non top down zerg loving grindy time wasting losers gotta lose extra hard and suffer for terrible rewards while zergs win and do whatever they want with basically no risk whatsoever masochists… or in short AA but with its bad parts being fixed/removed and good parts being done even better.
well the tryhard toxic zerg guilds doing the land rush still ruined it for the majority of people or made it way harder than it should be to get one at the very least

I've been "judging" the game for 8 years now. Like many of us that have been here since "here" was the old forums, I have a fairly solid understanding of both the initial design of housing in Ashes, and also the over all goal of housing that will be maintained even if the original design is changed somewhat.
