    Oh right, forgot there's the divine type. I guess my choice is divine then even tho scientific and economy ones could be interesting too.

    I think scientific is the way to go.. You get democratic elections so you get to choose your leader and there will be a fast travel mechanism. Unless the other cities give me nice bonuses to my crafting professions I think I will stick with Scientific.

    I am torn between scientific and Economy but have to go with Economy due to fast travel.  I really like the fact that there is no fast travel as a whole and not knowing enough about anything would like to see trade and players crafting rather than just porting around.

    Military all the way.

    - Rob the money from economic node by sieging it.
    - Steal the improvements from scientific node by sieging it.
    - Steal the chicks and beer from divine node (we know they have it) by sieging it.

    Bring all back to militaristic node and party all night long!

    You can attack a scientific node all you want! Good luck getting passed the technologically advanced defenses. I'm talking a moat full of sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their heads!

    To answer the question......I CAN'T answer it because no one knows what the nodes (or most of the game in fact) will be exactly. Sure I can speculate based on my vision of what each node will mean in my mind but assuming like that only builds me up for a possible let down when I find out the reality didn't match my personal vision. (A speculation thread on nodes might be a fun exercise)

    I can choose a race and maybe a primary class based on past experiences but things unique to the game like hybrid classes or nodes I would need to at least have described to me in detail first before I can make a decision. I wish people would wait until we are actually testing the game and we know more to ask these questions.

    I'm down for either of them really, but chose military for going to neighboring cities and shaking them down for lunch money and what not. :p

    Economic gives shared auction house. Scientific gives the quick travel.

    I'm having trouble remembering what the benefits of each Node are. Can someone post a link with the info?
