Assuming the C++ edition was 2015, reinstalling it did not fix this problem, nor did clearing the launcher cache. (View Post)1 -

Fixed this by adding the EAC folder in Program Files (x86), and both the Ashes of Creation and Launcher folder in Program Files to my AV exception list for scanning and the firewall. Not a great long… (View Post)2
