Maybe we could have a NPC by the gibbets, the jailer guy who will ring bell and yell to the town for everybody to come if there's corrupted players to be released so people could have a chance; if there are no corrupted the the npc is idle
This is a very happy system where you use real people as loot piñatas
This is definitely by far my most favourite Comment since January 2025.

Unexpected Error Message
I keep getting the following message when I try to log in: "An expected error has occurred while attempting to authenticate with Intrepid Cloud Services." Please try again later. I have been in A2 since Phase 1 and have not experienced this problem. Any advice please?

I like the idea that certain world bosses spawn under specific circumstances.
Under the not very likely Scenario that nobody informed Sir Steven about this Idea and Concept -> someone Please do that. That is very very cool and there is no Question that People would love it.
A World Boss that spawns only in the deep Winter of the Riverlands ? Or only during an immense Rain-Season or something ?
A World Boss that spawns only when a certain Area of Enemies is constantly farmed/slaughterd for Months on end ? (lol) Something like embodying the Vengeance of a Tribe of Goblins or Minotauers ? I am all here for it.

tbh should only be node citizens and nodes in the vassal system (when that gets added) that should be able to join defender of attacking side

KNOWN ISSUES
- The Mayor of a Node is not assigned as the Defender Leader during a Node Siege.

Economy & Design
- Node Citizens' Cloaks can no longer be deconstructed to make Node Siege Contracts
- Resolved an issue where players could recover materials of higher rarity than intended
- Non-named humanoid mobs now drop equipment appropriately
- Hunting Wolf should now grant rewards upon harvesting
- The Befallen Forge Relic now correctly unlocks T3 Journeyman Station recipes when active
- Level 3 Nodes in the Sandsquall Desert now properly have Relic Slots and 70 Essence
Naval Updates
- Potion Launchers no longer become detached from Caravels if the user crosses a server worker boarder
- Player Characters are properly placed behind the Potion Launcher, and their animations match their actions while using the Explosive Potion Skill
- Improved the wake visual FX on the Caravel
- Resolved an issue causing animations on the Caravel sails to not play
Siege & Node Systems
- Fixed an exploit allowing players to bypass the Node Siege Protection Zone using Tank Grapple and Rogue Grappling Hook abilities
- The Mayor of a Node is now correctly assigned as the Defender Leader during a Node Siege
- Citizens can no longer purchase a Siege Contract against their own Node
Gameplay & Systems
- Purchasing a caravan and then speaking to the Harbor Master will now correctly display a caravan, not a ship
- Rogue Stealth will properly deactivate when interacting with objects
- Reverted changes affecting abilities that relied on velocity-based movement such as Shield Slam, restoring expected functionality
UI & Visual Improvements
- Renamed "Show Player Nameplate" option, and restored functionality to display allied nameplates
- Bubble effects play when players are swimming
- Player Characters display properly when swimming fully underwater
Re: Lets talk about the Elephant in the room(PvP), slowly creeping up on us
Attack and kill a green results in corruption. If you don't want corruption you can easily avoid it by not attacking greens.
If you are green and get killed the punishment is worse for you if you don't fight back.
Pretty simple. This is not a pure PvP game.

Getting corruption level 1 for helping others (not corrupted) is not the right thing !!!

I am really frustrated, because there seems to be a problem with the corruption system. Here my case:
I am a healer and I was traveling around the area. I see a person fighting a mob (spider or grem) and I recognized that this person was in trouble with low health and does really need some assistance. As a healer, it is my conviction to help and so I started to provide some heals to that person. Sadly my aid cames to late and the person died, because of the dmg he was getting... but with the death of that person, I was getting red flagged with corruption level 1... and I after my own death I dropped some Items for being corrupted.
- this happend to me twice (yesterday and today)
- the other player was not flagged for pvp, nor I was
- both players (me and the other one) had a neutral status (white color)
- we both were not in party
I have no problem with doing something wrong and getting corrupted status... but I do have a problem with getting punished for trying to help other players...
In both cases I dropped some white gear... nevermind... but later in the game, if I will dropp some good stuff, this would be ridiculous...
Is this really the way this corrpution system should be?

So wait, what's the concern?
Is it that there are guards or that they aren't working 'properly'?
This sounds like a basic 'harmless noob trap' to me, a learning experience that only affects most characters once, but I'm genuinely asking because I feel like I'm missing something.
By contrast, if someone were to tell you 'well your guild is supposed to gear you up' I'd call bs, but... I can't 'see' what the guards have to do with this.
I'm just saying that the guards arent preventing the actual thing that people have a problem with, which is being able to still access your storage or do professions. They give a false sense of security, by protecting a few areas that aren't important.
And they dont even "protect", they just kill someone when they see them attack another player. So players with 600 MP can still 1 shot people in the node before they get killed, preventing them from doing professions, and as long as they got repair cash they can keep coming back and camping storage. Meanwhile the players of that node are put in a situation where they have to drop citizenship to continue playing the game. But since their node has all their storage, if they drop citizenship they lose access to the materials that they would be using to continue playing the game. So then they are left with very low efficiency PVE options if they want to keep playing, or just take a break from the game.
So I dont even know what these guards are for anyways. They dont protect the players, and just kill people in a few areas of the node when they see an attack. Pretty useless.
