Now that the game's rated (M) for Mature, it is possible that they could add a Druid with Mature magic, such as manifesting phallic objects that attack your opponents. But this won't be in at launch, not til the 1st expansion prolly.

Couple questions if you have the time.
1) and easiest to answer: do you have a hearthstone mechanic planned for Ashes? I know there’s a big emphasis on travel being a mechanic in the game, but the more I think about it, the harder it is to imagine a modern game without some type of travel connivence (Flight paths or a hearthstone)
There will be a family summon mechanic to help players in a group join together when they start playing.
You will not be able to transport resources this way.
Also scientific nodes will allow fast travel
If there are multiple scientific metropolises, then an airship will provide faster travel between those scientific metropolises for citizens of those nodes and their vassal nodes, so long as the metropolises are not at war.[2]
I think the wiki matches with my expectations. A little of fast travel bit but not much.
People will be bound together by where they play more often. That is a game pillar

Damn. I hope we get to see some Coastlines around the Islands in the upper Middle Region of the World somewhere. Or in Case there are already other kinds of Coasts planned there - i don't care where. But somewhere in any case.

I'm fully in favor of blackpowder weapons. Believe it or not, there was a time in history when sword, pikes, armor, and blackpowder were all simultaneously present on the battlefield, so I don't see it as especially fantasy breaking.
I'd even be in favor of firearms without blackpowder. Make them a product of arcane engineering. Imagine a pistol that fires firebolts instead of lead.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rogue has DoTs, like bleeding or poison. Summoner is also possible.
Thou keep in mind we are early days yet, and many skills have yet to be implemented, and most archetypes atm are fairly basic. This will probably change in time.
I would expect that you could combine a primary and secondary to build around DoT's if your so inclined.

From all the Archetype showcases we have seen so far: No.
Summoners might go that direction though. In theory it the talent tree options of the mage could allow us to specc our spells to deal more continuous damage rather than burst. But as of now I'm not aware of anything conclusive about this.

I get that and its a legit point on my book. BUT now we have to think about: Could Intrepid still make that kind of change in the primary resource system given how much time and effort has already gone into designing 6 Archetypes based on Mana being their main resource?
I'm at a point where I doubt that such a huge shift could be made without more delays... and would therefore only be made if the community broadly rejects the current design during the Alpha 2
