Re: Risk, Reward, Difficulty & FUN: What Intrepid is Missing
So you prefer running back and forth instead of just farming mobs? Or am I misunderstanding what "1000 kill and collect quests" is?GreatPhilisopher wrote: »i'd rather do a 1000 kill and collect quests than farm mobs like a bot
Cause, as I see it, that's literally the same thing as "farm mobs like a bot", except you waste time on interacting with npcs and clicking through UI windows.

Yeah but y'all are both definitely in the camp of people who played games with no complexity, so obv you're right about it in relation to those games.

Human Looks
All the non human races look well proportioned and nice overall, but the human races look really off. The have the same look as games like veilguard or other recent AAA titles that have ugly character models. Is this something that will get fixed and im just a cry baby or is the intended look. I know people will try and act like im calling it woke or something but thats not it, I just dont ger why they all have janky proportions and stand like they are kids asking their mom for phone games

Re: Steven, Please Rethink “Not for Everyone”
@TheDarkSorcerer @Noaani FYI I still got you blocked on the forums. I'm assuming one of you said something to disagree trying to trigger me and the other elaborated unnecessarily to piggy back off of it.
Re: Steven, Please Rethink “Not for Everyone”
Let’s take the example of ArcheAge, which had peace zones, conflict zones, and a system that shifted into war mode.
War zones gave +20% XP and loot, but there was a real balance between risk and reward. And Steven, whom I know is a big fan of ArcheAge, probably remembers that many players enjoyed trading in safe zones.
The real risk began at sea when venturing toward shipwrecks, trading routes, or fishing zones or when crossing conflict areas. That’s where risk vs reward really meant something.
Even in that game, the Library (an open dungeon) was PvP-free, because you simply can’t expect a group to defend itself from both tough NPCs and enemy players at the same time.

Archeage is a great example because it shows how stupid the zones going to war was. People just waiting around the edges until it was over and no one even fighting in those areas.

Re: Steven, Please Rethink “Not for Everyone”
There is no game that is "for everyone," this is just another one of them. You dont have to play it...should be simple.
You’re missing the point. No one’s asking for a game that’s “for everyone.” The issue is when it feels like it’s only for some. When the gap between beginner and late game is too wide, it limits how much the game can actually grow. That’s the concern. That’s not just opinion, it’s a fact.

I imagine it hits the reward centers in their brain differently? I figure they must like hearing the "quest complete!" sound effect and seeing a little particle effect appear around their character.
Re: Question: Easy Anti-Cheat
To answer the question, The OP needs to reevaluate the question posed, as the question posed is bringing up many (poly) blood sucking creatures (ticks).
Re: Wait!! dull Grind, vertical Power Scaling and RNG Gear Enchanting?? WTF
I rather they just make it so that we would need double or even triple the amount of materials but have 100% chance on the upgrade or use less materials and have RNG with all the downsides of a possible failure like it currently is. I'd rather grind my ass off and work harder for each enchantment if it meant the upgrade was guaranteed. I just absolutely hate the idea of losing a piece of gear cause of failure or for the gear to get weaker after days of grinding and then having failed cause of some RNG.
