Re: [Mount] Finite Market Problem
I think the price of mounts would drop if they were limited-time. People probably wouldn't be as willing to spend as much for them if they knew they were just going to have to turn around and buy them again in a month or two.

Re: Mob Training should be a BANNABLE OFFENSE as well AS CCing as Opener on Healers/All
Disagree with cc’ing healers being impossible. I think cc needs to flag the caster, and pvp will take its normal course.
This, or something very close would be the best solution. Using a cc on the healer is a completely valid and smart strategy (and yes I primarily play healers so yes I know how much it sucks to have happen), but if you aren't flagged as combatant already and you use a single target ability on another player, outside your party or raid group, the game needs to force flag you as a combatant and that flag must have a minimum duration that you can not just immediately manually unflag within. Additionally, all AoE abilities, both damaging and healing, from a non-combatant should only effect other non-combatants, completely ignoring any player flagged as a combatant or Corrupted that happens to be within the effected area.

Re: Exp debt and dampening at max level
You bought the game without knowing about these mechanics?
Where did I say I didn't know about it? I know about it and that's why I criticize this design decision. That's like the point of this forum, to provide perspectives on the game.
Re: Forced pvp caused by war
Honestly, this would be mostly resolved if they would just protect villages with proper guards that are not completely useless.
That a handful of players can camp inside towns and kill anyone logging in is just a terrible situation, and hopefully just a bug or oversight about to be fixed.

Re: Griefing and mob pulling is at an all-time high. Sharif's faith in the community is far too high.
As much as I have loved the direction that Steven Sharif has taken with his creative vision when it comes to AoC, I do believe that opening the option to PVE servers where players cannot flag up and commit to this heinous behavior should be considered and on the table. Sharif has put far too much faith in the community that players would act accordingly when in reality, there is some serious scum that walks through Verra, and will continue to walk through Verra if left unchecked.
These scum players will always find a way or a work-around to the systems that are put in place, and I think it's opening the eyes of some over at Intrepid studios, or at least I hope it is, given the severity of the exploits that players have continued to engage in. A big portion of your playerbase will struggle to find enjoyment in a game and eventually stop logging in when you allow such behaviors to thrive that hinder their ability to enjoy the game.
It is a PVX game and Steven has already stated, separate servers for PVE will not exist.
Here is what I do not understand, I have tested this game right along with everyone else (including a lot of solo time and pug groups) and I have been exposed to these same players and yet, I do not see this as the huge issue others are seeing it as. Situational awareness and keeping an eye out in high traffic areas for this to occur (HH, Carphin, SB ect.) goes a long way in preventing your own death.
Steven has already stated that they are implementing changes to the aggro system so that is not pulled from the initial aggro'd player by proximity but players will still have to stay diligent and pay attention to where they are and what they are doing so they are not tossing down AOE as the mobs are run through.

Re: Everything feels so unfriendly...
So what does 100 speed mean?
Derp derp skill izzues soiboi
It means it takes fewer swings to cut a tree down than a tool with no speed, and more swings than a tool with a speed of 500.
Has nothing to do with skill, it’s just a relative unit. Now, I’m not sure how effective it is in A2, but that’sna different issue.
I can kinda get where the OP is going with this. Without proper information it's sometimes hard to tell what is and isn't a bug. For example, there is nothing in-game that tells you that if you die you lose 25% of your gatherable materials. A new player might (very reasonably) think it's a bug when they go to recover their loot the first time they die and realise some of it is missing. They then submit a pointless bug report for something that is working as intended.
Or to use your example, you are assuming that "speed" is tied to the number of swings it takes to cut down a tree, but we don't know for sure. Moreover, when faced with an arbitrary number like "500" we have no idea how fast that is supposed to be. Let's say that the 500 speed is supposed to let you cut down trees 50% faster, but in reality it only cuts down 10% faster. That would be a bug, but we'd never know it because we aren't told just how fast "500 speed" is supposed to be.
Re: Make Guards attack people during Node Wars.
Node wars are not sieges. Two different mechanics with different outcomes and goals.
