Deleting threads isn't going to stop people from asking questions :)

    Why are you two still going on.

    If your true agenda was to "spread information", you have done that long ago.

    Now you're still taking it to a new level and pushing deep into it to slander the name.

    Alright. To clear this up, the reason why threads are being deleted, is because; the same questions are being asked over and over again. People who wont even bother to research about the game, and just ask the question by placing it in the forums, shouldn't even expect an answer. The repeated questions are a hassle to the forums mods and is seriously just a waste of their time. If your going to post a thread, make sure that it isn't some repeated thread that can be simply answered by searching it up.

    If there are threads that are being deleted for other purposes, it's possibly because it is defying the rules and regulations of the forums. Or because it was caused by a glitch that occurs when a user edits a thread, and then the thread they were editing gets deleted. It is a known bug that is currently being worked on. But if if is your thread, and it gets deleted, please re-post your thread, there is a possibility that the thread was deleted by accident.

    The guy who thinks the cash-back service violates the KS terms raised a valid concern. It does not violate those terms because of the subtle but technical difference between getting monetary benefit for YOUR buy-in versus getting monetary benefit for your referrals' buy-ins. But it was a fair question to ask, and asking it does not make him a troll. Once Steve explained himself that he was in communication with KS themselves and got the ok, then the thread should have been locked but left for posterity. That bit didn't strike me as malicious, only misinformed.

    The bit about trying to share links to Steve's past endeavors I admit does delve a little deeper into the gray area of slander.

    The problem is the original post was very accusatory and inappropriate. Had the person asked without making while accusations and and slandering people he wouldnt have had the post deleted. But just like prior to him posting that on here he posted that same garbage on other MMO sites trying to destroy this game. It was a direct attack on Ashes.

    If the question was worded like. Well I disagree with X Y and Z and here is why. What can be done to make sure X Y and Z does not get abused by lets say goblins in the dark. Does this not volatile the TOS with Kickstarter?

    Did this happen? Nope this guy went off on an accusatory inappropriate forum post like every other MMO site's forums that he came up with this shit including reedits, and he reported it to kickstarter. Kickstarter's response was nope no problem here the TOS is not being broken, and several of the MMO sites basically told him sorry but no you are acting out of line here. So no what happened was person with a personal vendetta attacked Ashes directly.

    Maybe he should just grow up and leave shit alone.

    To me, if anything, it feels like a refer-a-friend setup from literally any other MMO you've ever played only with a different twist. I don't get the problem with this.

    Im surprised that this thread is even still open. It should be locked now and allowed to slowly defragment into little cyberspace particles at the bottom of the forum well.

    The GM copy paste the fragments manually back together, every time it gets defragmented

    If I were a mod on this forum it would have been locked from the start. Unfortunately I'm not and as far as I can tell we don't actually have any mods on these forums. The Discord mods have no power here, so the only people who can lock threads or change anything are the admins, who we can't directly contact....
