  • Thank you, Wesleybruce

If it's worth while, then I'll speak/type out, on what's on my mind.

    @ Valenores

    You are half correct.

In Dry places like Deserts, Grass planes, or lands that have experienced a drought. Would be in danger if/when lighting strikes, but dead, and dry trees can be come aflame.

Wet / Damp averments, green / living trees, and other assorted plant life would not easily burn. Yes even a ever green tree like Pine trees would not burst into flame when struck by lighting.
Like in real life a Pine tree changes when it's hit by lighting. The sap in the core of the tree crystalizes, becoming lighter knot. Unlike in the real world, their is a large amount of " magic ".

For your immersion braking, not at all. >>> Unless some one walks up to you and ganks you with out RP.

Towns need wood to build, wood comes from logs, and logs from trees that were cut down by lumber jacks.
Cities need stone bricks to grow, comes from raw stone, and that is mind from caves / stone quarys / moutons.
Jewelers, and mages need gems, and rare metals, for their craft.

    Now on another note.

Given their is a lot of magic in the world, and world events that effect the world in more then one way. Why would their not be Raw rare too Unquie materials, that were affected by such magics ?

    @ Valenores

Such Unquie raw materials (( " enchanted, imbued , , ,ect " )) may not have the given states, nor would the prosed Raw Materials. The Items and gears that were crafted from such raw materials would have these states, in addition to what could be enchanted upon the items normally.

This would be one way to place Craft able end game gear on the same level that a world boss may or may not drop, or be found in it's nest / lair.

  • @Ravossel Yes, but now we are taking into context speculation and lore that we do not know is in the game. Take for example: fire burns wood and other things- that's common knowledge.

Lighting creating sort of crystals in pine wood- is interesting, to say the least, wouldn't call that common knowledge, however, my concern is a guild of Mages, spamming AoE fire/lighting/ whatever and effectively cutting down wood cause- Magic doesn't need to adhere to logic.

I understand that lighting doesn't always equal fire. Just ask Master Windu.<img src="https://38.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m0kyt6ZE9u1r3co2jo7_r1_500.gif" alt="Master Windu RIP" />
  • Lore is both common, and uncommon. What may be commonly know by one group, may very well not be known by another group. ( If at all )

For instance my irl friends, and their friends more or less know about lighter Knot and few of the ways how it forums, and were to find it. While sum one that's good with programs would know were to find hidden PC~Viress on a system. Me and most of my friends would not know this.

For the group of Mages, and Magi , , , humm , , , yup , , , that's just a small group, verses a group size that would be needed to fight one of the World Bosses. Means more magic, and the World Boss's Unquie magical powers (( If any ))

Plus the Unquie types Trees, and logs I suggested would have to be exposed to magical elementals though out it's life.

    P.s

Master Windu, is not a Druid.
