  • Definatly a scythe <3
  • Double swords/daggers are a must. Maybe some double daggers connected with a chain would be more epic, making rogues mid range as well as close quarter fighter.
  • i would really like to see a crossbow in difference to a normal bow. so they kinda have different stats regarding attack speed (or maybe even armor penetration ^^ )
  • some different types of summonable weapons. summoning a living dagger, or a talking sword would be pretty neat
  • Would love to see some polearm type weapons and crossbows, both done right or at least well. Would like to see some racially specific type weapons. Maybe even quest lines that unlock them to allow other races to train them if they want.
  • A mix kind of weapon would be interesting to see. For example mixing a cleric staff with a sword or a bow with bladed edges. These would be obtained by picking things like ranger/rogue or cleric/fighter.
  • I haven't seen a plain old sling for a very long time. Wouldn't have to be a sling from David and Goliath, one shot weapon. Maybe just a low end damage dealer but fast and good at interrupting casters and more mundane mid-ranged weapons like shortbows...

Also some differentiation between weapons for hunting critters for crafting(bone, meat, hide, whatever) and melee weapons would be a neat and new take. It feels odd when you can hunt deer or deer analogues with greatswords.
  • IMO, weapons in fantasy MMOs have fallen into a bit of a rut. Just "best in category" seems to be the default. There are lots of different types of longbows for different things. Lots of types of club/maces. Lots of polearm types. Many different situations such as how much room you have to operate in and not mechanics for greatsword and close quarters or using bows while standing right face-to-face against an opponent with a fast melee weapon. There were reasons that a longbowman always had a secondary weapon with him. <---bow was useless in an up close encounter...

  • 2h Battle Axes are my favorite, but a nice mace or staff can work to.
  • I am not opposed to inventing and including new weapons. It would be nice though if one game would just do more with what is commonly used. Costs more, true, but there is much potential never touched on.

  • Spears.. I would love to be a dwarf tank with a 1- handed spear and shield.

Computers are great for fast computations. Their potential for calculating more complex systems is undervalued in games sometimes. Or maybe, like most things, such detail doesn't cover the cost of bang-for-buck.
  • 2H warhammer. Of course it would look more like a mallet. Like this

A Sceptre for casters would be cool, I'll be using a staff (which has to be in, LOL).
  • Lord, hear my prayer: Please help Intrepid with the motivation to put more attention toward their problems with this website and fans being able to post there more reliably.

Let's see if that works. Getting a goat and 3 chickens ready for voodoo if I get no help from The Heavens.

  • Special gloves imbued with gems or talismans for casters, would like to take a step away from weapons you hold and rather have something that empowers your casters abilities.
  • ^I like that idea MathiasCB -- Many games pretty much glue wands or staves to caster's hands. It makes way more sense that their hands are free and empowered by their covers.
  • Yes. That would be a neat idea AND another craftable item! I'm all for that! :)
  • Daggers, maybe even throwing stars
  • Is there a certain specific number of chickens needed for the sacrifice to get a post to.... post?

  • what about....nunchucks? xD
  • Violins for bards, would love to play the violin and buff people!
  • Flails, never seen a MMO with a ball and chain in game, probably cause it's an animation nightmare
  • Polearms, all of them
