  • My guild is a small guild with big ambitions :D
  • I like to have a small elite team of around 20 to 25 players
  • Most likely a lone wolf like usual, though wouldn't mind a small guild

Haha sure if you don't mind having me
  • Role Play guild?:D Large or small, doesn't matter :D
  • I prefer one that's not on the list, one that is a close knit group of people who love doing the same thing. Until that time I'm probably rolling Lone Wolf, as this will be the first MMO in a long time I won't be starting out as part of a guild as none of my gaming community friends are sold on Ashes yet... :(

    Their loss honestly.

But I really do weight the community and culture of a guild more than anything. We could lose ever fight, never down a boss and never control a node but if we have tons of fun together, I'm there with a smile.

It's about the people man, good people.
  • A guild that does stuff in both PvE and PvP and polotics

I don't know how the Bandit Lords of Baubbleshire will turn out.

At our core, we will still have an alpha/focused group of players who'll push for content completion. But we are aware this is a social game and meeting new people is always fun. We have other friends and family who will play with us in a more casual setting.

Size definitely isn't the focus but we usually welcome players of all sorts provided there isn't a very detrimental effect of having more players aside from the choices the guild has to make in terms of progression.

So the categories for the poll... ummm small fits us best I guess?

I plan on creating a mercenary guild dedicated to defending the population and taking general merc jobs as well. I guess sorta like a pseudo police force in one aspect and a pay me and I'll do this on the other lol. When the game drops I'll definitely pick up willing members but the end size of the guild is undefined.

Edit: Join me @Karthos together we can rid the world of @nagash 's evil! *cough* I mean befriend the undead nagash!

    Paladins ftw *cough*
  • I will create a murderhobo-guild :)
  • I don't really care, as long as it has impact and is friendly, so... I'll vote small for now, but it might be big, small, merchant...
  • I am a cind of person thats all of them. I had alot of guilds that where succesfull. But at the same time I always been a lone wolf and a leader of the pack. A community person, cause without the community there is nothing to get by at the end of the day.
  • Voted for a small guild, but I dislike the term "casual". I prefer to have a narrow group of like-minded players who cooperate efficiently and get stuff done, while "casual players" usually refers to nothing more than guildchat banter and occasional dungeon run or two :)
  • Already apart of a guild which is relatively small at the moment but is actively recruiting to become big (though hopefully not too big) aiming to serve as Mercenaries, though would not say our approach is "casual" though we are all getting along great!  :D

Sure I need the target practice
  • Going to build a guild that focuses on smart conflict and economics... might have PVE things in there if I find a player who is a raid leader. However, most of our time is going to be spent on defending/attacking caravans, ganking PKers, hosting parties and banquets as social events for other guilds and new government officials and last, but hardly least, patron the crafting system. I myself want to be a master alchemist, but I'd like to be able to hire several players for various needs, from weapons and armor to cool looking mounts and guild hall decorators ((Carpenters))
  • Since I'm part of a 5-person group, I guess we'll see what fits better.
Either we'll join another guild to build up a 20-25 member elite (much like nagash said)
Or we'll create our own little guild. However, I'm not sure if that will really work in Ashes, since we're 5 players. Maybe you guys have an opinion on this - would be happy to hear some. <3
  • I will make the most infamous guild in AoC
  • I prefer being a lone wolf in most of the games I play, mostly because if I were to join a guild it would be with my friends. But since my friends don't really play MMOs or if they do, only very very casually, there's no real point in making a guild with them. So, lone wolf it is :D

Role play guild, I want stories to tell to help people to have more things going on in game, more to get out of it.
I want to be the one marching up and down singing songs to myself
I want to be the two guys in the corner arguing heatedly.
I want to spend my time crafting and bartering and having a funk bucket of fun!

  • One of many leaders in a small guild that does all kinds of activities
  • @nagash I can already tell I'm going to enjoy this game. Incidentally I will be a tank so target practice probably isn't to far off... Depending on if they give me a wet noodle or a real sword that is.

My thoughts exactly, I would love to hang out with players like you. Can we team up?
  • In the past, I've been in small guilds - 25 to 40ish. Large enough to be able to raid and have activities, small enough to know everyone. Certainly won't be a hard core guild.
  • I would prefer a small guild that can handle raiding/ crafting. Way easier to deal with and you actually get to know everyone rather then 500 ppl talking all at once  also PvP with a small guild is fun ^_^
  • I am thinking I will do best in a large guild. I am in NA (west coast) but play more like from 6am to 12am (with breaks of course) and on the weekend I don't play seriously. . So my hours are hard core, I love helping the guild, I don't use voice chats, and I prefer to hunt alone. So in a big guild I can be really helpful without having to be raiding and grouping.

  • I'll be probably CO-Guild Leader of a Relaxed, Kind, Friendly, Warm hearted guild :)
  • I really don't think size matters.
