  • Is eso any good these days? Any significant changes with the morrowind dlc, other than obviously the new map with the quests that come with it etc.
I actually returned to it after a few years in BDO because I wanted a break from the grind in that game. I have always loved ESO for its questing and story. The major sustain changes in the game didn't break it, and have actually made some stamina builds more viable now. That was a surprising change I don't think anyone really predicted. The new class is fairly strong (as it would be for marketing purposes) so I guess that's good, but overall, it's not that bad. Not as bad as many people projected, still not worth the price they're trying to pay.

I agree that more than 10 choices max in a poll might be useful!

Could always put "Other" as a choice.    Most times polls don't have a choice that suits people.  That's one of the reasons I hate general polls. lol

  • Well I play guild wars for fun no and again but right now RTS games take up much of my time (that and the wife ^^)

  • None

lol? How did you get none? :(
    With wicked, tricksy HTMLs master.

    Heck who needs HTML?

  • I agree @Whocando that Gw2 was a good game. Yes ESO had a bad launch, but Zenimax has improved a hell of a lot in that MMO and I'm sure if you quit quite early, there'd be a lot of changes you hadn't seen. Having said that, PvP wasn't really improved at all the promises to iron out its problems since the lightning patch were empty words.

LOTRO is my favourite MMO of all time in terms of enjoyment so I won't say more as I find it difficult to be objective about that game ;)

  • I just remembered an MMO that I used to play all the time a while back called fallen earth now that game I have put so many hours into
  • Add options: none, some other MMO, and several MMOa in same time.
  • I haven't really seriously played an MMO for awhile. The closest was Swtor and more recently SotA.
  • Noone played Earth N Beyond? was an EA run space game..

    Star Wars: The old republic
    Elder Scrolls Online
    (The) Secret World (Legends)
    The Division
  • Not playing anything right now really. If I do start playing something it'll probably be FFXIV or GW2 with my gf.
  • Wildstar was the last one I truly enjoyed.  Until it ran out of content and they concentrated on cash shop stuff.
WoW I still play when my friends log on tho....I hope to fix that when Ashes launches!!

Why is it kids these days seem incapable of responding to a poll about what they like without putting down, often in great detail, all of the other options?  Can we not just keep it positive here, people?

    Example:

I've been a member of the governing council of an active ESO guild since early beta and still love it - we have guild events almost every day of the week and are currently really enjoying Morrowind.

As much fun as we have over there, several of us are gaming nomads with constant wanderlust; I'm hoping Ashes of Creation gives us another world and game system to explore/experience/enjoy as a group the way ESO has been doing for almost 4 years now.

I also enjoy occasional jaunts into GW2, TSW, BDO, and even go back to WoW every once in a while.  Some other MMOs that I've tried - like LotRO, DDO, DCUO, FFIX, and FFXVI - didn't really click with me; I'm not sure why that is, but it's totally cool if you like them!  :smiley::+1:

See how easy it is to talk about what you like without even bringing up stuff you don't like or putting down anyone else's favorites?

*huffs, nods, and then hobbles off to fall asleep in a rocking chair on the porch*
  • Revelation online. Newest MMO in west I believe. It's okay. Poor publisher tho
  • guild wars 2 untill ashes. i just cant bring myself to spend on anything els
  • Well I was playing BDO but I have decided to take a break from it. Probably will play GW2 or Albion online again.
  • WoW for PvE, RP and I guess we can say Politics? It is always fun doing things together!
  • I played GW1 a Long time ago and was searching for a really good MMO since back then.  Thats why I'm super hyped about AoC right now :). Can't wait for the release. >.<
  • MMOs are not for "play"
  • none, still waiting for "the one", its been years
  • I actually have ESO, BDO, SWTOR, and TSW all on my computer, and play whichever I'm in the mood for. Most recently it's been TSW, with SWL launching soon. Picked ESO just because it was the one I put the most time into in the last few months.
  • I'm playing archeage, to just acclamatise to tab target
  • Quite a few missing, where's BDO, LOTRO etc
  • I haven't played Elder Scrolls online. Is it worth checking out? Since I see several people are playing it.  I need something to pass the time. :)
  • Maplestory, for me!

    *unrepentant*
  • Quite a few missing, where's BDO, LOTRO etc

The link to the full list of top 30 MMOs is in the main post.  BDO came in at 24, LOTRO at 16.
  • @shazooo; @Cyn
Have you had a chance to test out SWL? I was thinking of trying the relaunch.

  • Does Planetside 2 count?
  • @Solarion
Yes, I am/was in beta since phase 2.

@Solarion Unfortunately I was away when I found out I could get into the beta, so I missed the chance. Several people in my guild (Ascendum) got access to it though and seem to be enjoying it. We've got a Division set up for it when it launches, so it should be fun.
