But ESO was the last one for me. I needed no further proof of genre regression although the PvP was promising up to the lightning patch.

Same actually. I did nothing but PvP in that game and then after that patch I just couldn't anymore.

Is eso any good these days? Any significant changes with the morrowind dlc, other than obviously the new map with the quests that come with it etc.

They are on the list, just not in the top 10. Archage was 14th, and BDO was 24th

Yeah I'd guess a lot of players interested by Ashes of Creation are actually playing ArcheAge or BlackDesert

I actually played Star Wars Galaxies on a private server last and have to say, it still beats most other MMO's in my personal opinion. The community has always been and most likely will always be great, simply because of how the economy works and the gameplay was fun and addictive. 

After trying out a shitton of MMO's I realized that I value the community in a game more than anything else. I loved vanilla WoW; you always had friends to hang out with and it was an amazing feeling to go raiding with 39 other people. You had a sense of camaraderie. I mean, you literally had to cooperate serverwide to open raids like AQ. In Star Wars Galaxies you couldn't buy anything unless you cooperated with other players. You literally just spend times in a bar to chill with others and watch people dance. You properly stood in line to receive buffs, if not you wouldn't be buffed by the other players, because you were rude. 

All those things were awesome, but almost every other MMO tries to please the solo players and scrutinizes teamplay.

I know this is kinda blunt but you should also pick in BDO because it's getting quite popular atm and allot of players are playing it (i'm not anymore) so a none or other option should be edited into the poll

To be fair there's nothing "blunt" regarding your message, however the reason for their exclusion has already been explained in the thread.

You dropped Marvel Heroes for DC? Lol, this makes be angry and laugh at the same time for some reason. 

Playing Marvel Heroes a bit here and there. Lately have been thinking of getting Heart of Thorns and return to GW2.

My last MMO I played a lot was GW2, and I thought I was done with the genre for good until Steven and Intrepid Studios roared, "Where do you think you're going?"

ESO was my last MMO but Ive stopped playing, at some point it just became pointless to solo grind vMA and wipe hordes of randoms in PvP. I had every class level-up to v16 before the CP conversion. Still miss the small scale PvP fights though..

Current Active Gw2 account. But I haven't really been playing it just loggin in and doing dailies. it has many good points and i find it hard to play other MMO without the same dynamic combat system in Gw2. It's getting stale after 4 years, I can't take the lore or story seriously. It's a pretty game for it's age though not my favorite thematic aesthetic. Great community still.

ESO at launch was a disaster quit after finishing the story and various other bugs and publisher shenanigans.

WoW pre cata...after Game turned to shit.

LOTRO. might revisit, didn't have time to sink into it.
