Scientific nodes will be the best

in Ashes Of Creation General Discussion
While the Divine Nodes are fighting for whose god is better, while Economic Nodes are fighting to see who can accumulate more wealth, while Military Nodes are fighting to figure out who is the strongest, we in the Scientific Nodes will be figuring out how to get to space and open up the moon zone for our space las-.... I mean, space metropolis.

    Good sir!  Exactly what scientific methodology did you use to come to this conclusion, this hypothesis that the "Scientific Nodes are the best?" 

    I ask because, as you know, to be thorough we must run independent experiments so we can compare our results.

    Once those results are reviewed by a panel of our peers, I look forward to reading about it in the Journal of AoC Science. 

    But hey, maybe in 10-20 years we can raise enough capital to take this info to the commercial sector and start making some real money, am I right?

    Science nodes are  building the weapons for the military to destroy the economic nodes who are funding the divine nodes who want to wipe out the science nodes. Please feel free to stop when you've located the best node :smirk:

    Sounds like just the residence, I hope not as i am economic and being able to fly would help.

    I also believe that this only unlocks at metropolis.

    Fast travel is only good within that node. You won't be able to port from Pink node to Yellow node, only from one side of the pink node to the other. It won't be good for trade because everything will be the same price. Low.

    Heh, that's assuming that Science opposes religion in the world of Ashes. Since the gods exist in the world and (I would assume) be able to physically or magically affect the world, I doubt that Science will oppose the religions. :D

    I think it's more likely that the different gods might oppose one another.

    all depends on balance on other nodes as if you control the market with a Economic node and can basically block money to another node ruining them before a war has even started  or depends on divine as fighting for a god depends on which god and there might be different divine gods  ,also depends what you do with the node

    Accumulate more wealth? Surely you jest. The Coin is but a paperweight if you don't use it. No sir, we have our eyes on all things material.

    Your churches need symbols and figures of worship? Our artisans have you covered. 

    Swords and armors? Our smiths are the best in the land. 

    You need titanium polymer for your little space station? Well, we got that too. Just know that it might be a little bit... pricey. 

    That being said, I do like the idea of a scientific node. It falls just behind of my fascination of the economic node.
