You can always force a request for the desktop site.

Navigation gets kinda impossible then but you get to see all the  pretty sigs.

Getting error messages, so I'll stay clear of sigs for now  :(
  • I'm quite glad that I can't see sigs on my phone because if I could I wouldn't see much of anything else with a screen that size. ^^
  • Everyone is showing off their sigs and here I am twiddling my thumbs  :*
  • What? A forum "signature"? Am I saying that right?
  • Yes. over.
  • Unfortunately, I can't get it to do a text only signature.
  • @Karthos Har har :expressionless:
  • @ReaperOfCookies What did you use to create your sig animation?
Did you just create individual frames and assemble to a gif?

Your message leads me to believe I needed to turn over to continue as there was something in the back of my screen.

I now need to explain to my boss why my monitor at my desk is torn apart.

    @Rumbleforge

I used After Effects. Thankfully I know enough to do things in there, would take waaaaaay to long if had to do it frame by frame

Haha, I used to do stuff like that frame by frame....  I'll have to try after effects for something like that.  I've only ever used it to create simple motion graphics for video. Which now that I think about it... omg yeah, yeah that would be easy.  Holy crap.  Never thought of using AE for a animated sig!  Haha.  Probably because it sounds like overkill, doesn't it?

Not really, though If you only want the program purely to make gifs... probably.
Reddit has a whole sub dedicated to it, a lot of them start out with photoshop. Eventually they move onto AE for motion tracking, stuff gets crazy

Frame by frame would be an absolute nightmare.
  • Since when is yours animated!?
  • Ooooo like Krojak and Reaper of Cookies sigs.  :)
  • What is the file size aloud?
  • 555px wide, 400px height, though I'm not sure about the height
  • The size I can work with but its the file size I need to know if its under 1mb then im fine
  • oh should be just fine then, not sure if it really matters as it's linked not embedded
  • Thats a good point

I'm not sure that's entirely correct.  I have not used a link to insert my signature.  I just dragged the file from File Explorer into the signature box and it uploaded.
