Yeah it's the time frame it happened in and I personally think it's strange it only bugged on a few people x.x hopefully our accounts are alright @.@

I totally agree @Diura. It looks like there are a few "dummy" accounts that are responsible for boosting a large number of accounts. I think that a subset of these accounts are being boosted to "cover the tracks" of the accounts that are getting the biggest boost. All in all, it's not a good look if this kind of abuse is allowed to continue

Truth be told, just about everyone who has posted in this thread has probably benefited from these dummy accounts, to varying degrees.

To me it seems like it's constantly in flux.  As if not all accounts are processed for points at the same time, but perhaps different blocks of accounts get calculated at different periods.   Which might make sense for forums that has thousands of users.

Just speculating, though.

Been adjusted also. Thought it was very odd on Sunday with @Diura, @Nagash and me hitting 5* in a short space of time but things seem to getting back to normal. Don't know what happened to you @Dygz as I've not been on much of late. Things will get back to normal in due course for those that like the "likes".

Yeah I thought it was odd cos I've not posted much this week cos I'm working on some threads to post later - and I was asleep-at work xD I knew something wasn't right but wasn't sure what but problem solving @Krojak I instalnty recognised names that's boosted. Some of my LOL votes i was like even I don't find that funny o.O

Has anyone done a search for those names to see if all they do is bump likes and agrees?

I might do that to help- Tolrag stood out cos the name isn't weird but I don't fancy going though all my post lol - x.x but I suppose it helps

I'm a chronic liker/agreer/loler. There also might be people who just like to read and bump likes without posting, Forum lurkers and or forum goers whose first language isn't English are less likely interested in oosingm
