I am wondering if people are being active on other websites to spread the word about AoC. I am trying hard and I am sure there are other fans out there doing the same. Which websites are you guys active on? Which ones would you reccommend or completely avoid?

    I'm annoying all 500 members of my GW2 guild on a regular basis by pestering them to register for an Ashes account  >:)

    I've got a core group of gamers that I currently play with and others that I've kept in touch with. I've been planting subtle hints thus far (even have provided my referral link a few times but only a few snags as of yet). As the time gets closer and more details are revealed/hype is confirmed for some of the more skeptic gamers I think the seed planted will grow quite well!

    I mean, spreading the word isn't that necessary RIGHT NOW, as the game is currently in pre-alpha and it's hard to get people to make an account of even look into a game that's not coming out for ages. I've made an attempt to get people to make an account, using my referral link  >:) , but they couldn't be bothered putting effort into a game that's not even out.

    Once the game reaches beta, I'll definitely be spamming every living soul with my referral link  >:) gimme gimme dem moneyz

    It'll be much easier once Alpha actually starts.  I've already spoken with a few people who I know will spread it to others for sure but until we have definite info I won't push it.  People especially younger ones have a short attention span.  All we can really do atm is to keep the waters warm and our enthusiasm!

    I have got a few people backing this game but they already knew about the game I just convinced them to join. Like the others say once the alpha starts I will be pushing this game more

    I just can't get any of my close knit gaming community to come to Ashes sadly. They are all grouches, so I said "screw you guys, I'm going to Ashes" 

    And now I don't have any friends.

    But my roommate is interested in playing

    I have four expect to play and seven who are waiting because they have all been playing a long time and don't believe anything they read. If I get the GS to play then 28 more. lol

    My friend informed me about AOC coming to my desk saying  "DOLPH, I found a great upcoming game! You gotta  check it out , it's gonna be dope!", then I looked for a bit wih him on his computer then I got hooked and now I'm another brick in the wall getting excited for a game that'll be playable for me in 2-4 years....  Since Intrepid already got financial support, I mean they really do not need more mmorpg geeks getting stuck in a forum website.

    I have the same issue. Being part of a gaming community has it drawbacks like getting people actively involved in a game that is  1-2yr away from release. All we can do is keep plugging away. I did manage to pull a few in on the kickstarter. It's a start.

    (Cause, you know, AoC's Phoenix is a bird, after all....)

    That being said, I've introduced AoC to my guild of friends, and to a few other acquaintances that I thought would be interested in it .
    But I know for a lot of people, they'll not get a lot of excitement until they can actually play it for themselves (or see what others can do while playing it.) 
    So currently we have our excited community of early adopters.... but once we hit beta stages, I expect we'll have a resurgence of new folk jumping on the 'ol caravan bandwagon.

    Oooo I got distracted... I managed to get 2 to join, and a few lookers, but as others said, when launch gets closer, it will be easier.  My guild also has been interested for quite a while and has been discussing...looking good. B)

    I am spreading the words via discord, but i think dualshockers is pretty much doing that, I'm just sharing their news alot. Now I have a hard time getting people into it when they are happy with staying with Black Desert Online.

    My friends are already tired of me talking about Ashes, though I love it when they start asking questions to the game. I am certain they will at least try the game out and once they do I have doubt they will ever leave.
