Notifications not working all the time + Quoting bug

I've noticed that the notifications in the new forums are still a little wonky. I do not get notified when I'm quoted in a discussion.
It would be good to have an option to be notified when you are quoted as well since it helps facilitate discussions.
Also, on a different note, when you quote someone, and you press backspace before typing, or correcting you first word, your typing cursor jumps straight into the "quoted area".
This is easily rectified on a PC by pressing Ctrl Z to undo your backspace but can be frustrating on a mobile device where you'll have to delete the entire post and make sure you start a quote with an extra "enter" so your typing doesn't jump into the "quoted area" after the first space bar or even if you delete the first word you type

Just realised I typed "are" instead of "area" in the gif... bah.
