Guard Animals?
Hi everyone. This the first discussion I've ever started so have mercey on me lol.
Just throwing a fun idea out there. Remember the stream where Steven and Jeff turned into those cute monster bunnies/puppies (at least they looked like bunnies/puppies)? Well, what if we could catch, tame, breed and train those animals to defend our homes for when our node falls? There could be a means of leveling them up as well as recipes for their food.
I feel that this could add an extra challenge when a node is under siege or has been successfully seiged and would also provide some security if a homeowner is not online to defend their freehold.
What do you guys think?0

I like this idea! But I think they said your house may go away if your node falls.
After a successful siege, we have about 2 hours to defend our freeholds and prevent them from being destroyed.
Now the question is can i make them look undead?
After all, if you think if lore and roleplay, too - it makes perfect sense to have guard dogs at the very least to be able to sniff for intruders (possibly invisible rogues or mages, too?) and a perfect non-magical solution for many things. Perhaps they could be also trained to smell different things, like when your crops are ripe (if you're a farmer), or if a certain type of herb is in the area, or tracking somebody if you're a part of the mercenary stuff that tries to hunt down criminals?
Would this "training" be pet-specific, perhaps as a part of the Animal Husbandry stuff? Or do you think it should be something related to the Augment system they have where you would be able to apply certain things to vanity/cosmetic/cute pets?
And no one has been there to feed my poor guard beastie. It dies.
Not even the gift of dying honorably in battle! Such waste of a noble creature! Woe, woe is me!
*ahem*
Anyway. Just a thought
