To Guild or not to Guild?

There are a lot of guilds already forming. Some of these are already growing to large sizes. Some of which will be larger than they will be able to handle. Where do you stand with finding a guild?

    Totally subjective poll but I'll bite. No right or wrong answer here ofc, but true to form I'll wait. Doesn't stop me from getting to know people in the community and hopefully one day I'll be lucky enough to share a server with some from here.

    I'm just trying to get an idea on everyone's take for guilds during pre-alpha. Definitely no right or wrong answers

    Sure thing - nice to see quite a few guilds building nicely on the forums. Top 3 of the leaderboards are already in guilds and loving it. :)

    For my it's about building a community where we get to know each other before the game comes out. That way we can take over the world quickly ^^

    I am not against joining a guild right now. I am just holding off a bit until I find one that has good hearted people I can laugh and have a good time with-and seems like they will be a contender at the top.

    I haven't particularly looked into any yet. I am open to it, however.

    I'm the same as you 'other', I'm still looking through the EU guilds since it is still early and more guilds will appear.  I will get a guild for this game eventually, maybe a few months down the line.

    There is so many factors that will affect my decision and as we are pre-alpha, many of the game design factors are uncertain.  So I think I will wait for awhile before joining a guild.  I am not sure I will wait for the release but I will wait for more information so that I am more certain that my interests are synchronized with the guilds interests.

    Personally, I've found that a majority of the guilds that are formed this early in a games development typically never last until launch. So I plan on looking for a guild either at, or close to launch.
