Bright flashing signatures. Pretty please avoid them and spare my eyes?

@AutumnWillow and @Morriganna if her stars would twinkle it would be more awesome. :p
I also liked the image with lightning the @Morriganna posted on the activity feed yesterday.
  • Thanks ladies but that was the best I could cobble together. Lol

Thanks @lexmax however I realized after that it is a bit hard on the eyes.

  • What is the method for turning off the flashes?

Tick the "hide signature always" box in your signature settings.

  • I tried to have a good balance on mine, I do agree on not liking the strobe light style ones though. I am on the mobile version of the forums alot of the time so I don't see any.
  • You can disable signatures in the signature settings.  One little tick and all your problems will go away.
  • Hey @Sozia,

Check out my forum extension too.  With the extension, you can choose whether or not you want signatures on, but then it lets you toggle the signatures off and on at anytime if you want to check them out for a page.

  • I'm a beginner when it comes to photo editing, so I could only manage a ripple effect anyway for my first time making a sig. I'll make sure to avoid flashiness as a GIF effect for future sigs though.

Also, this turned out way bigger than I expected. I'll need to scale it down when I have the time.

I actually love the understated simplicity of your signature; it really has the feeling of flames warming/heating things up.

I don't think @sozia was asking how to hide the signatures, rather just alerting folk to a potential problem for others. He stated in his OP that he knew how to turn them off, but enjoyed seeing all the pretty siggies you guys have made :-)

One of these days I am going to stop procrastinating and actually make myself a better sig. The problem is...I am lazy.  :(

Aww shucks. Your comment is warmer than any effect a sig could produce though   o:)

If it warmed the cockles of your heart, then it was well-done.
