Phase I of Alpha Two testing will occur on weekends. Each weekend is scheduled to start on Fridays at 10 AM PT and end on Sundays at 10 PM PT. Find out more here.

    Yes you can still play the game. That is only for cosmetic things in game and will not deter your playing ability. The game isn't out yet, but we all will know at the same time when release is.

    The game is in Pre-Development meaning that even if you had a key you cannot play just yet. current dates are Alpha 0 for the people who won keys in the weekly drawings is on the 15th of December 2017, Alpha 1 that was purchasable in the Kickstarter is around December 2018. intrepid has stated that the game will launch "before 2020"  when the game launches it will be a sub based game with no upfront box price.

    The PAX exclusive Digital Cosmetics doesn't contain any form of access it is simply a cosmetic pack with pax themed items. to get into the alpha or betas when they go live you will need to purchase an alpha or beta pack. currently, the store is selling an Alpha 2 pack (also contains access to beta 1 and beta 2) and a Beta 2 pack (just contains beta 2 access)

    The game is still in development and access is so far paid only or with a very high amount of luck to get a Alpha 0 key to be able to test this game on December 15h.

    Nope. There is no box cost, just sub fee once released. People will be streaming it all over Twitch and others once it hits Alpha 1 so you can see if the style is too your liking. Free trials lead to gold seller spam and other problems.

    Welcome @kellyxxx! The game is still far from release, so currently there is nothing like that. I don't know if there will be anything like a trial, but I hope not, because of what Unknown said regarding gold sellers.

    It was addressed and answered by the devs in a livestream, so unless they have some sort of epiphany as to why it would be a good thing vs all the negatives don't see it happening. The era of welfare gaming and the illusion of f2p needs to become another thing we look back on and go "Why the hell would people fall for that."

    Hello everyone. 

    I'm from India (south Asian country) and would love to play Ashes of Creation when it launches, but there's something that bugs me.
    The business model they have chosen is monthly subscription based and we have heard from them that monthly charges would be like 15$ which if converted into Indian currency is 971 Indian Rupee which for us is quite expensive, here we can buy AAA games for that price. So I'm concerned if they will balance the prices as per region or not.

    The $15 USD subscription price is just an estimate and is the common price for MMORPG's to have for their subscriptions, as far as balancing per region we haven't heard about that just yet as it's still in early development, however during the live streams they do hold a q&a where they answer question's from the community so keep a eye out on the announcement's section of the forums and also the #news channel in the discord if your in there as well :smile:

    Theoretically it would be nice to adjust prices per region, but there is a huge problem with that. 
    Fraud
    You could just open a vpn to a cheaper country and create your account their, with a much cheaper rate. The only way around that would be that the player gets bound to a regional server, with the subscription he paid for. What on the other side would prevent people to play together in a international scale.

    I would really like to play on the us servers, even so i'm from Europe. But in my experience the community is way nicer over there.
