What class and race are you going to pick?

I don't know if you guys have decided which route you are going with your first character but I want to get a feel on what people is leaning towards when it comes to race and class. In my case I think my first character is going to be an Elf Hunter. Maybe more the elfs of the forest than the other elfs. It would be really cool if some of the beast in the world could be tamed and then used by the hunter as mounts and pets but we will see.

One does not simply "choose" to be a dwarf.... one either is or is not a dwarf deep in their heart and in the foundation of their very being!

That being said, I will choose my professions to be the closest thing to the "Dwarven Defender" concept that I can. 

Or or maybe a paladin.  Haven't ruled that out.   

But that is my "main," as they say.  I know I have several alts in me that will be varied in race and class!

Race I dont know i need to see more concept art at the least before i make a decision, class however 100& primary cleric my love for healing demands it. My secondary choice though..im unsure ill have to play around with that when we can get our hands on the game; or at the very least more info is out about the game.

Race:  Dwarf
Main class: Tank
Secondary class: Summoner

With a summoner/ undecided (as close to full necromancer as possible) and race undecided
for my second. Will play both until I decide which I like most for my main

I'm always the tank in my friend group. Even if I like my alts more, I'll probably be playing tank for life lol.

Playing tank is okay. I play one when a paladin or necromancer aren't available. Having a good tank is essential

Tanks ftw. I classify paladins in that kit too though. I tried making a necrotank in DDO it works pretty well if done right.

Everything might change depending on the racial and class augmentations though.

I plan to have two characters.
The first is going to be an elf and possible a battlemage -- but she will be for my streaming onliy. The second will be a Tulnar-- and I have 0 clue what class they will be. I'll figure that out once I sit down and design the character background a bit more in my head.

In reality, probably Rogue/Rogue or Rogue/Fighter. Also interested in Warrior/Summoner or Fighter/Summoner. Need to see more about how they interact to really decide.

I usually tend to be fighters to begin with, just to get a feel of the game overall. There is a huge risk for a female dwarf fighter/tank.
