I recommend American Gods and Stranger Things - and lots of others but those two are super good xD
Check out Penny Dreadful. 3 seasons and they stopped before the story got stale. Overall good show in my opinion if you enjoy that sort of thing. It's on Netflix.
lately I've been enjoying Dark Matter, Billions, and Better Call Saul. All vastly different shows, but I enjoy the variety.
@Mykkala anything at all I have so many that I collect and read but I do love fantasy/ sci-fi and anything that is gothic in style
If cooking competitions are your thing, MasterChef Australia is better than any other under that brand.
I can't recommend half the shows I watch because they are incredibly trashy. Haha.
I do watch Better call Saul, the spinoff of breaking bad. It just had its season finale though. I also watch Vikings and Mr.Robot. Both of which are in their off seasons
Misfits - what if teenagers stuck with community service got super powers...
"Better off Ted" - a mockery of how mega-corporations work (sitcom style)
Better Off Ted was really good. It went too soon. It's sad that it did not receive as much attention when it first released, and instead only got the recognition it deserves through Netflix now.
It's an adult Harry Potter. It's created by the book of the same name The Magicians by Lev Grossman. People claim book is darker than TV version as well as TV Show being way better than the book.
They finished their second season and in 2018 third one is coming. Each season contains 13 episodes. The creators and the producers put insane amount of effort for such low budget and low amount of audience. The cast is amazing.
Plot summary is: Magic, magic, school, magic, sexual intercourse, drug, alcholism, sexual intercourse, magic, lgbt love, magic, obsession, magic, death, magic, death, gods, magic gods, demi-gods, gods, magic...
But the saving grace for me is that the way the story is crafted, the show sets itself up to be an alternate reality of the books - which sits okay with me. (I appreciated joke about Janet. )
I have to say that I love the casting for the tv show though, the actors are great.
