Lancer Class / Or Lance Weapons?

not sure why but i have always loved lance's and very few mmo's put them into their game... Do you guys think AoC will have lances? if not anything similar?

I hope so. They did talk about staves and two handed spears and are undecided about one handed spears.

I can see something that looks like lances in one of the concept art pieces:

but it's not mounted, so it's probably just a spear or a staff.

I've always loved lancer classes. I am always holding out for it.

Seems like we won't have lances since we characters won't be using weapons while riding mounts.

Since we know that class abilities can't be used while mounted, perhaps there will be warhorses with lancer abilities? To me the Runic Steed, cries out for this ability

We may have to settle for Unicorns.

The only reason to have lances in the game is for mounted combat. I do want to do a ride by lancing on someone though.

i hope they have a lancer class, i love being able to use lances or spears in games, please make this happen

Maybe a Monk out of two hybrid class can use Lance like a staff. Wukong + Avatar Aang + Double edge lance would be cool.
