Spears yay or nay

anyone one else hoping there will be a lancer class or a melee class that would be able to use spears/lances (1h/2h)

    I would like to see spears, either with shield and spear or perhaps long spear with 2 hands though unlikely, with spear and shield perhaps the spear could also have a short throwing range.

    Nay to lancers, but Yay to 1h and 2h spears. (edit) Polearms are ok, too.

    I've always been a huge fan of polearms in general. One of my favourite weapons to run around with in Ryzom(mmo no one has heard of) was a pike. I loved the look of them. I would love to see them here too.

    I don't normally use polearms in games but I adore players that use spears and the likes ^^ I think they look super cool and usually have really nice combat visual effects xD

    I've heard of Ryzom, it was ahead of its time and still is. Its a shame that mmos haen't been able to beat its npc AI system still till this day.

    I voted yes, but really I would more lean to impartial.

    I mostly care that all weapons that exist are balanced, rather than what weapons in particular we will have.

    Spears or pole arms , but more of a martial arts feel to them rather than a lancer/spear+shield type approach.
