Phase I of Alpha Two testing will occur on weekends. Each weekend is scheduled to start on Fridays at 10 AM PT and end on Sundays at 10 PM PT. Find out more here.

    But not just diversity of weapon IMO.  Also the ability to use the weapon appropriately.  For example, to be able to plant a wall of spears and turn back a NPC calvary charge in a siege or such. 

    Or in open world pvp, to have tank wall and then spears protruding out from behind it.

    Also whips. Why do whips never get any love? The last time I ever saw whips was back in EQ. :|

    Yes. As long as there is a one handed version so I can us it on my Paladin tank! I can see some really cool shield bash spear attack combos.

    EQ2 had whips too, but now that you mention it you're right. I really haven't seen them anywhere else. Perhaps no one wants to go through the bother of animating them?

    if its a two handed weapon yes. i dont want it to be something you can throw. maybe if your like 300 would be cool

    Spears are easily my favorite melee weapon. And I got a friend of mine saing if they do add the shield/spear combo then he'll buy the game in a instant. So here is hoping!

    Polearms in general I want. (Especially Halberds). Spears are a good first step.

    I was all ready to vote hell no. When I realised I misread. I somehow read sprays rather than spears. But yea, spears seem like a logical thing to add. I don't understand why many games skip it.
