    Tank, I like to tank to keep enemies focused on me and away from the dps / healer. With what little has been revealed so far with game play and tanking with positioning the use of wall type effects etc ashes should be a fun game to tank in.

    DPS cause I like doing the attacking stuff business but that doesn't mean you can't protect your allies at the same time

    It depends on the game but I tend to be more dps. However, I love a good tank and spank or tricky heals gameplay. In AoC, I feel like i can get into more tanking than dps but only really for the combinations that can come out of tanking that doesnt really show itself as much in dps/heals. But we will see. We will see...

    Only thing I don't like is Tanking (which is a little ironic because the PlagueMonk is s sort of tank)

    Ranged dps for the win.  Kite, kite then kite some more.

    I always go with whatever class sounds like the most fun.  That approach hasn't failed me yet.

    I'm a multi-class player.  Games that get too pigeon-holed forcing single track specialization fall off my radar quickly now that there are so many options to choose from.

    I dont even know where a summoner would fit in, if your summons can do a variety of things.
    I prefer a good mix of everything.

    you left out the 4th option which good games have, like Everquest, Crowd Control.  A good enchanter can work miracles.

    I like DPS, but if there is a class with DPS/Healing combination then that is where I will be :D

    However the Summoner and Bard are peaking my interest...we shall see :)

    No favorite really, but I do tend to lean healer which I chose.

    No single role, I tend to go for dual-role classes or.. a class with a non-spoken role like how Assassins and Rangers are DPS, but are often the "scouts" since they typically have movement speed increase/stealth.

    Usually my main toon is Mage. Then I end up as healer as they are more often then not hard to find and I like being the pillar that keeps things alive and kicking.

    I often see a lot of healer characters but when making groups, they are usually nowhere to be found.   :D
