I have to say... with the current state of the game only 3 MONTHS after Kickstarter they have completed a lot! Not only do they have a working Pre-Alpha to bring to PAX but, they also have stated they will have the first Alpha 0 in December!! That is exciting! I can see (at this pace) the persistent alpha coming out next year early if  they keep this up! who else is hyped???

    There was some development done before KS, mainly setting up lines of production, communication, and a set development milestone plan. I agree that what they have cranked out over the summer has been amazing. I hope whatever Steven laces the ice cream with he keeps adding, they are going full out.

    I am just reading on Discord that Alpha 1 should be December 1st 2018 (Frederik is my witness, he saw it too) so we still have a long way to go, unless they progress faster than expected and reschedule their alpha and beta phases.

    Yeah, I agree with you in that they could reschedule their game but they did state that their alphas and betas would be around 3 months each so if they start in December of 2018 then we def won't see the game until way later in 2019.

    Hahahaha....Alluring typing in December 1st 2018 doesn't mean anything. I could go on Discord and make up a date if I want. Unless you see someone whose name is in gold or purple post it, it isn't verified. Anything else is just people talking out their ass. They put December 2018 all over the Kickstarter because they had to give a date. It may come earlier, they have promised not later.

    I agree with you on that one Unknown... I doubt it would take that long plus they seems to have their ducks in arrow on what they want done and when. I can see the alphas coming out for us to test for sure before December or next year... On that note I can see why they would put the date so far back. They want to make sure they have enough time if they hit a hiccup and also they did have to put a date on the Kickstarter!

    A purple name not correcting a false accusation is also a statement. I bet moderators are at least somewhat informed, considering Sarumonins reply "I am not legally allowed to say" during a twitch stream when a person asked if moderators had any more information than the average person.

    A purple name was present and did not correct a "false accusation", which makes me believe it is not false.

    Word on Discord is that Alpha 1 is supposed to start on December 1st 2018, but according to Unknown this statement is false as it didn't come from Intrepid Studios itself, but a Community Mod didn't deny this statement either.

    Yeah but in the live streams during PAX they stated that since they were able to get a working demo out and also announce the release of Alpha 0 in December that they could see themselves working at this pace for a while and it could possibly move the date up. Now there could be hiccups in production(hope there are not ) but, I love the speed and transparency that they have so far which is why I did the Braver of worlds package (:

    Good morning,

    To say that a Moderator not correcting someone who posts a guess or miss-information as being a confirmation is inaccurate. There is plenty of misinformation that tends to get circulated. A Moderator or an Intrepid staff member stating or confirming a date, now that it a different story.

    Now in regards to Alpha / Beta / Prod timelines and dates, I am currently working with Intrepid to confirm and prepare an Announcement on the topic. Once we do have that official announcement, then we can know for sure. Until said time, many of the circulated dates are rumors at best. 

    1 point of clarity - Alpha 0 is slated for December 2017.

    I'm sure they will release more information and dates when they get into next year after they have let key winners try the game out! Hopefully we don't have to wait forever to get all these answers! (:

    Or just on schedule, unlike most studios that seem to never be because of reworking stuff.

    It was remiss of me to focus on the minor fixable issues rather than the successes.
    Well done @Intrepid for the work you have pumped out so far.
    You have proven intent, capability and competence with the PAX demo.
