Respawn locations

• After death, players respawn at random spawn locations.

As someone who'll be more into PvE and exploring my new world systematically and carefully, I'm wondering about just how 'random' my respawn location might be if/(when!) I'm killed whilst exploring? 
Especially if I've spent a good length of time getting to my present location by walking rather than fast travel, I'm just worried that I am gonna spend so much time getting back to my previous area? Or would that make 'systematic' exploring in that way basically pointless?
Do we know if I'll respawn in the same or a different node...? The next node? One in a totally different area? Has any idea been given?

The way I remember the livestream was that it was an answer to spawn camping. Steven said that respawn would be random and Jeffrey said within the same node. The dedicated quotemasters are looking for the specific livestream timestamp.
