On the topic of information availability, is any one else bothered by the exclusive Phoenix Initiative meetings? Literally paying money for more information. I could understand Q&As where the top tier backers picked the questions and we all see the answers, but this secretive nonsense bugs me.
The PI meets around once a month and is under NDA. Why? Because the soundingboard that it is meant to be would be quotebinned as gospel for mechanics and systems that they are kicking around as ideas that they are not ready to release. Money is access. Look to special interest groups and political party fundraisers for real world examples. There is some information out there that they are privy to that we are not. In the end it won't make a bit of difference in how the game is launched and presented.
