I don't know if it has been stated or not but i think added a fog of war map would be a really neat concept to ashes. Like as soon as you spawn in the map is completely black and as you explore the map will be revealed. But lets say you visited a node in stage two, and haven't been back there in months. on your map it still would show a stage two but in actuality it is now a stage 4 node. This could be integrated with a guild/ trading. like could make in game maps for a profession for instance that reveals chunks of the world. could also reveal ore veins and other points of interest. Ashes is about exploration, this i believe would really added to the feel of exploring.
