  • Hola.
    Saludos.

I wonder if gliding mounts can walk or at least temporarily follow the player ...

When I heard that they can jump, I thought they would walk ... until I knew that they want it to be like AA, a high jump with cooldown.

In APOC, they copied AA style. What's the point of having a cool dragon or weird looking Lion gorilla butterfly mount if no one's going to see it up close? :'(

That would just make them an easy target to track, for nothing.

I’d like gliding mounts to be capable of waking, albeit at a slower pace than land mounts. I’d like to be able to see all varieties of mounts, not have to be gliding next to one to see it at all.

    Same. Yes ....
That would defeat the purpose of buying gliding mount skins.
In AA, the gliding mounts aren't skins. Mindlessly copying this game would be bad from a business standpoint.

I would think that gliding mounts can also walk. Intrepid said that there are three "tiers".
    Tier 1 ground mounts.
Tier 2 gliding mounts. All mounts with wings fall automatically under tier 2.
Tier 3 flying mounts. Available to mayors, royals and legendary world boss drops. Royal mounts are physically larger then tier 2 mounts. Certain tier 2 mount skinns can be upgraded into tier 3 skins. Max flight duration is around 30-40 min.

Skins will supposedly depend on the tier of the mount. The emberstorm dragon skin for example is a skin for tier 2 creatures, but can be upgraded to fit tier 3 mounts.

I would think that every tier 2 mount with legs will be able to walk ;)
