Will you stay and adventure close to the first node you find? Or will you head out, 'far' away from the starting area to find the type of node you really want and begin its advancement?

I think when the game launches i will try to get away from the starting location at first, and explore that area later when it's a bit less crowded over there.
I hope to start the coins flowing with helping to advance the economic node to the village level:
Markets in Village level economic nodes have auction houses that allow raw resources and processed goods to be posted.[1]
yes, of course this will depend a lot on what we see alpha1, 2 and the betas

ok, let me translate
Damokles, as a dwarf character, pick up the mining skill, with some equipment from the starting area, explore the Underrealm in search of ore...nice
You can take that ore to 'my' village economic node and sell it for high profit!
Nonono.
Damokles, as a Tulnar explorer will "pick up the mining skill, with some equipment from the starting area, explore the Underrealm in search of ore" to use said ores and gems to make beautifull trinkets and gems.
LOL, ok, forgive me mr. future Tulnar. You will be welcome in our economic village...just keep the ore coming
Me gets ore, me make trinket, you buy trinket for overly extravangent prices to sell it for EVEN MORE EXTRAVAGANT PRICE! Yes-yes me make shiny.
I think I'll be heading to a big island that has a nice beach and plenty of places to go fishing.
I am really wondering about that. I've seen multiple people on the forums who already want to head for an island when they game launches. One might wonder if there is any space left lol.
Also one of the reasons I will probably not go to an island at first.

Oh man. I cant wait to die over and over again!
Or the mountains.
And hopefully either start up, or join a band of Melee magic warriors that will be (preferably elven) and create a elven force of magic wielders that will generate the Architectual style of the elves into a metropolis.
I will be participating in the red march event. Slaughtering any and all players outside of the safe zone for 1 hour.

I think that the best way or maybe one of the way to resolve this is giving to the player a "push" to the zone or node he want to be ... maybe with a caravan or expedition ... so you will start your journey directly in the node or near the destitation ... you will probably start into an already developed node .. a city for example.
Every node that has already been colonized will ask to the starting area for new people and then recruit you... but if you are ugly you need to start a node all by yourself probably xD .
is this correct? What do you think of this way to start the player into the game?
umm...so, you are going for corruption? you going the outlaw route eh? I'll be sure not to start gathering too many things early on near the starter area.
U.S. East
I like to wander. I like costal forests and mountain vistas.
I want a t6 military node in that setting.
Sure there's a possibility noob zergs will build the bigger cities by the starting zones.
It will be very satisfying to tear them all down.
All roads lead to Ren.
