Mushrooms ...

  • @Medrash personally I would prefer a mycelium attacking with mushrooms rather than a mushroom attacking with mycelium because the mycelium is actually the "plant" and the mushrooms is fruit...

But don't worry to much of the mob for now.
IS will work on their animations, attack and AI for the Horde mod where we will be able to test them and give feed back ;)

Why can't the mushroom just bash people with its head?
What you consider 'fungus-like' isn't any more correct or immersive than anybody else's idea. There's no problem of substance here beyond your personal disconnect with the concept of a mushroom attacking somebody in that way.

I just think is not that good and it can be better ... i didn't say it doesn't work at all or it's totally trash. Yea maybe i was too rough , i need to explain things in a more gentle way.

Ya, I am uncomfortable with the mushroom mob, to. I accept corruption mutated these fungi, but if that's the case, give it arms? Sporing is better, imo. Game breaking? not really, just makes me cringe.

The cringe is a good thing xD ... just kidding. If done right a fungus arm can be pretty good. Look at dark souls mushrooms xD haha

Why are we still talking about a lvl4 mushroom's combat animation/skills?

Do you guys want to fight a mini dungeon boss for every quest?

Because the OP decided to respond to people and moved it back to the front and then you did by posting in it again, and then I did by posting in it again, better we just ignore it and it’ll go away

Do people remember the Death cap mushroom that Steven pointed out and how he didn't attack it. Well I am willing to bet that the death cap does more than just bash you and Steven did not want to spoil the surprise when someone does attack it.

I do agree there should be some variety amongst the attacks of the various mushroom types, perhaps every once in a while a random shroom could be a shriek-er that attracts other mushrooms to it, spore attacks of various types, the large flat ones could do a spinning attack that could hit multiple targets and knock opponents down.

But putting ideas and feedback here on the forums is just what IS want us to do even if it is just about the mushrooms.

i don't get what you are saying, we are not talking about any mini dungeon boss here.
pls connect to the reality and then stop replying me if you don't want to talk anymore about this topic.

  • The game is also in alpha, they have said they are working on animations. Steven constantly says it.
Anyone who got a link to the video, so i can see what is wrong with the animation?

According to the op he doesn’t see anything wrong with the animation it’s the fact that a giant mushroom is using its giant cap to head but you instead of using spores or mycelia. It’s a silly post to make about one monster shown
