    I do remember this coming up in one of the recent streams and Steven mentioning that they do not want players attacking others near a freehold and then running to safety. I don't remember if he said how they will address the problem though.

    Do we know if that includes city housing, or is it just for Freeholds? That's why I thought Housing was safe, but when I re-read that, I wasn't sure.

    Those quotes were/are in relation to how they want to test it, they are not in any way set in stone.

    They have said they are also looking at/planning on testing a system where you are not safe on your freehold, but you are obviously able to prevent others from going inside. This is to deal with the issue you point out of players attacking others and then running to safety.

    I don't have a quote for that though, because not everything is on the wiki, and when Intrepid talk about things they want to test, rather than continually update the wiki with these things (which would be more work than it is worth) they usually just leave the first idea mentioned up.

    Peaceful tailor by day, deadly assassin by night slaughtering targets for a fee, feared, respected and despised the tailoring assassin will kill anyone for the right price... plus if you pay extra I'll make you a suit out of their skin. >:3

    I am not sure. I just went off of what was there. However, you can be attacked in towns; and, in-node housing (not the instanced apartments) are part of the open world in the town. I assume there will be some kind of system with guards keeping the peace.

    I just think some type of high level hunting/assinating that is official. Not just some type of haha I screenshot you when you got ganked. But a real prestige marked target. Thats what made the system so good back in the day. In star wars galaxies when you killed a Jedi/Sith Master or Knight it really meant something. They lost huge amounts of XP that to continue leveling up would have to be regrinded so they fought like hell to not die. The payout for credits was really good too so it was worth the time investment to actually hunt the target, get them at the right time, and be stocked on the correct equipment/consumables to do so. This type of high level hunting is going to be awesome streamed, fun as hell with adrenaline when it goes down, and will add strife/drama to keep the world churning.

    A simple fix would be to prevent you from entering your freehold if you're in combat. You have to clear the combat flag first somehow.
