Spiders in Ashes

While I think the models we have seen of spiders so far look great, there is one thing that I find a bit wrong, and that is that they all appear to have 'stingers' on their abdomens. Now I know they could be spinnerets, but they do look more like stingers to me. What do you think?

    I think we should not compare imaginary creatures in a game with real world examples^^
    But i also think that they are spinnerets.

    We have walking giant mushrooms, bird-men, and whatever the hell a flanggler is. Is a spider with a stinger really that unbelievable?

    Looking at it, it appears to be a stinger like Shelob in LOTR.

    As for our spiderbros here, who's to say it's not a prehensile tail? 🤔

    The creatures of Verra are often a unique spin on IRL equivalents (even just the colors alone in the pic OP shared are likely a bit of a deviation from nature), so maybe it's to spin webs, poison you, or just to wave hi :tongue:

    YESSS!! Creep out your opponent by covering their screen with spiders for a few seconds and honestly I will be disappointed if a brood warden doesn't use a single spider.. best way to draw aggro is to make people hate everything you summon

    I have no idea what they should be classified as, but I know for a fact that they each deserve one (1) pat on the head.

    Aww that's not very nice. These beautiful creatures just want to give us a friendly wave, not paralyze us with their deadly poisons and wrap us up for dinner. Probably.

    I am 100% going to breed spiders together with monsters with wings, so we can have awesome Winged Spiderbros as gliding tier 2 mounts.

    Square-cube law, structurally,
    Impractical but this is fantasy.
