How far from P2W is this? And how easy is it to slide that way?
I am going to agree with a resounding no on this one. Reminds me to much of the log in rewards thread.
Most people never listen. They are just waiting on you to quit making noise so they can.

Don't make a battle pass you have to pay for just make seasonal progression systems that are available to everyone and can be done in multiple areas of the game so whatever your play style is. You have a specific seasonal progression for what you want to do and its all free and you can do multiple. There are lots of progression systems and things planned so adding seasonal ones would be a good way of keeping people playing and allow people to show how long they have been playing for as they have items from earlier seasonal things. Making it cost money and be a single progression encompassing the whole game is a grindy cash grab that I don't see them implementing.

The only question i have is: What went so horrifically wrong in a persons life to actively promote a battle pass system?? in a game that already has a monthly sub fee???

Like... Ugh this content is great, if only they charge me more money for every step i take.
If only they would, instead of implementing a cohesive game experience, make a detached XP bar where i can watch my stupidity rise in real time by throwing more and more money to get items that have no reason to exist.

If it was Steven trying to sneak in some easy quick bucks/super low effort content i would atleast understand what is happening here, but having consumers actively ask for this is just.. wow. im speechless.

You don´t have mounts in albion store because that would be pay to win,
    Oo
Albion store have already gold vs euro store and sub make everything faster. So the pay to win is already here.

And the "battle pass" (montly quest) you describe it's just a way to artificially engage more people ig when the game itself is too weak to do it naturally.

    BIG NO!

I don't hate you, but I sure as hell hate your idea.

Playing the game should be its own reward. Battlepass, weeklies, and dailies are "Guilt Mechanics". They keep you doing what the DEVs think you want to do, and make you not want to do what you want to do. It takes the feeling of freedom out of the game. These systems are a plague on modern gaming and should be denounced.

Its not my idea, the epic games dsenvolved the battle pass thing. 0

You idea that a battlepass might be good for Ashes is what I am against. To be clear.

I don't care who invented the battlepass or what games people liked them in. I just don't want to see them in Ashes. Nothing wrong with liking them if you think another game was better off with battlepasses. I just personally don't want to deal with any lists of predetermined chores.

Playing the game should be its own reward.
